This Jane Jacobs Walk is planned and lead by a group of girls aged between 9 and 12 years, and will give an idea about the places that matter to them. The Walk will show which places are special, unique and important to them. It will also include places of fear or of discomfort and a discussion by the girls and why they perceive the particular area as such. The girls, as experts for their environments, will be supported by the neighborhood management to set up a plan for an interesting walk, that also includes their experiences from the Observe Program and the Five Senses Guide.
