Walking Tour of the old Actors' Colony near the shore of Lake Michigan. A walking tour of the Actors' Colony that once thrived in the Bluffton neighborhood during the early 1900's. Many vaudeville actors, including Buster Keaton's family, summered here. I'll point out sites and share many stories about the colony and its history. I'll also bring along some Actors' Colony books to sell. Walking shoes, and perhaps a bottle of water are recommended.
All ages welcome. Share some Muskegon history with a kid! The event is FREE! Books are $10.
