This year marks the 100th birthday of one of the most important urban thinkers of our time, Jane Jacobs. We are celebrating by conducting a Children's Walk as part of the Utah Foster Care Chalk Art Festival. This walk will be a fun way for children to explore downtown and revel children’s thoughts of the city through art. The walk will engage children as active members of their community.as they learn and discover through their natural environment. All Children K-12 are welcome to attend. The more “eyes on the street the better!” Parents also will enjoy as they watch their children engage and learn about the built environment and place making. The sidewalk is also a great place to make friendships. Please join us!
