This tour explores the stories of Sacramento’s lost jazz legacy, from the early 1900s through mid-century, by visiting several of the surviving buildings in downtown Sacramento that were once home to jazz nightclubs from the 1910s through the 1950s, including the Clayton Club, the Trianon Ballroom, Top O’ The Town, and Buddy Baer’s. The tour ends at 12th and K Street, just in time to see Harley White Jr. performing live jazz at Brasserie Capitale.
