This walk will be second of two walks conducted on two consecutive days and in two different parts of Hyderabad city. The idea is to take the same set of walkers through neighbourhoods that have evolved at different points in the history of the city. The places we will be visiting are Moghalpura in the erstwhile walled city of Hyderabad and Marredpally in Secunderabad. These walks are an attempt to understand the subtleties that make these neighbourhoods sustain in a certain way due to their own histories, cultures, demographics and spatial development.
