The walk entitled “Our Mississippi Homecoming” will be a walk around Historic Downtown Carthage starting at The Breezeway on Main Street and will proceed to Van Buren Street past the site of the old Leake County Jail and the Old Carthage Library, then down Court Street and end at the Leake County Chamber of Commerce Center with refreshments and a historical display. There will be 14 stops on the walk with different speakers along the route talking about their memories of growing up in Carthage.
