Celebrate the life and work of Jane Jacobs by joining us on a walking tour of some of South Seattle’s urban orchards. The tour will start promptly at 10:30am at the Seattle Children’s Play Garden and continue to four other sites where we will learn about the history of different orchards and what volunteers are doing to steward this invaluable, public resource.

The Walking Tour of Historic Redmond Buildings will begin at 9:30 am Saturday May 4th, 2013 in Anderson Park. From the park, we will walk through downtown Redmond, stopping at 10 historic buildings, before ending at the first Redmond Saturday Market of the year (7730 Leary Way NE) around 11 am.
