This event will be co-hosted by Andrew Riggle from the Wasatch Regional Coordination Council and Kira Larkin from the Utah Council of the Blind. The walk will focus on navigating UTA’s Salt Lake Central Station safely and efficiently, with a particular emphasis on the challenges encountered by travelers with visual, physical, or cognitive impairments.
We will meet at the southeast corner of the Hub. From there we will walk to the bus loading zone and continue through the drop-off area. We will return past FrontRunner and cross the plaza to the Trax platform. Following Trax, we will visit the Amtrak boarding area. Finally, we will end at the Hub where we will explore the Greyhound bus terminal and the amenities the facility has to offer.
